About
A small, open organization.
HHT Diary is the organization; TripLibre is its first product. It is led by one researcher today and built in the open so that anyone can read, check and reuse the work.
Who leads it
Zhanchao Yang
Zhanchao is a transportation and urban planning researcher who grew up in Qingdao and works in Philadelphia. Zhanchao's research uses household travel surveys, causal inference and a lot of maps to study how policies and changing cities reshape the way people travel.
TripLibre started as Zhanchao's own travel survey of one. HHT Diary is the home for that work and for whatever grows out of it: the shared engine, the data model, and any future tools for researchers, students and small agencies.
How it fits together
- HHT DiaryThe organization: principles, vision, roadmap, and the GitHub organization github.com/hhtdiary.
- TripLibreThe first product, a travel diary for iPhone, with its own overview and docs. Its code lives at github.com/zyang91/TripLibre for now.
- HHTCoreThe open Swift engine inside TripLibre, kept separate so other tools can reuse it.
